Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies only to the Android version of Bible Shorts.

This Privacy Policy explains how MOUNTAIN PEAK PAINTERS, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) processes information when you use Bible Shorts and related services. Bible Shorts was previously known as Bible Video.

1. Information We Process

The information we process depends on the features you use.

Device, network, and service information

When the app communicates with our services, requests may include a device-derived guest identifier, session information, and technical details such as your operating system and version, app version, device type or model, brand, screen size, language, region, network type, and client type. We process IP addresses to handle requests and, in some cases, may use IP-derived information to estimate your country, region, or city.

The app does not support user account creation. Some service records may nevertheless be associated with a device-derived guest identifier or session identifier.

Church and religious affiliation information

If you provide or select information about your church or religious denomination in the app, we process that information to recommend content that may be more relevant to you. This information may reveal religious beliefs and may be treated as sensitive personal information under applicable law.

You may choose not to provide this information. If you do, content recommendations may be less personalized. We do not use church or religious denomination information for advertising targeting. It is not included in Meta SDK events or in the information sent to Google Gemini for AI responses.

Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before processing this information.

App feature information

When you request video episodes, series information, Bible translation resources, or other app features, we may process the language, selected content, feed position, device-derived guest identifier, or other request details needed to provide the feature.

Bible AI information

When you use Bible AI, we process your question, any Bible passage or page text you submit, your selected response language, relevant conversation context, request details, and the generated response. Page text submitted with a request is limited to 20,000 Unicode characters.

Your questions or submitted text may reveal religious or spiritual interests. Submit only information you are comfortable having processed to provide an AI response.

Purchase information

If you purchase a subscription through Google Play, Google Play processes the payment. We may receive information needed to verify and provide your subscription benefits, such as the product, transaction, subscription, expiration, and entitlement status. We do not receive your full payment card number or Google Account password through Google Play billing.

Support, diagnostics, and app interactions

If you contact us, we process the information you choose to provide, such as your message and email address.

Where analytics or session diagnostics are enabled, the relevant providers may process app interaction, device, performance, or diagnostic information to support those features.

2. How We Use Information

We use information as needed to:

• Provide video episodes, series information, Bible translation resources, and other requested app features.
• Use church or religious denomination information you provide to personalize in-app content recommendations.
• Generate Bible AI responses using the question and context you submit.
• Return app configuration and language settings.
• Verify subscription access and provide the benefits associated with a subscription.
• Measure and optimize campaigns promoting the app.
• Respond to support requests and operate, secure, and troubleshoot the app and its services.
• Understand and improve app stability and performance where analytics or diagnostics are enabled.
• Meet applicable legal requirements and protect users, our services, and our rights.

We do not use church or religious denomination information for advertising targeting.

3. Bible AI and Gemini

When you use Bible AI, your question, submitted passage or page text, selected response language, and relevant conversation context are sent to Google Gemini, the AI service configured for the app, to generate a response. We use Gemini for this feature and do not route AI requests to a backup AI service.

AI conversation messages and related service records may be stored in our systems. Temporary session context may be cached for up to 24 hours. This cache period does not determine how long stored chat messages or service logs are retained. See “Data Retention” below.

4. Meta SDK and Campaign Measurement

We use the Meta SDK to measure and optimize campaigns promoting Bible Shorts on Facebook and Instagram.

The Meta SDK may send Meta Platforms, Inc. information about:

• Device identifiers, such as identifiers used by the Meta SDK to recognize app activity on a device. This may include the Android Advertising ID (AAID) where it is available and enabled for the app.
• App installation activity, such as an installation or first app launch, together with the event time and campaign attribution information.
• Subscription events, such as a subscription purchase or another subscription event configured in the app. The event may include its event time and subscription or product information. Purchase value or currency is sent only if included in the event configuration.

The SDK may also process technical information needed to transmit and attribute these events, such as app version, operating system version, IP address, and event timestamps.

Meta uses this information to attribute app installations and subscription events to campaigns, measure campaign performance, and optimize campaigns. Meta processes information under the terms and privacy policies applicable to its services.

We do not send Bible AI questions, submitted Bible passages or page text, AI conversation content, or church and religious denomination information to Meta.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Bible Shorts offers subscription products through Google Play. A subscription provides access to all videos and other membership benefits presented in the app. The specific benefits, price, billing period, trial terms, and renewal details for an offer are shown when you purchase it.

Google Play processes subscription payments. We receive the purchase and entitlement information needed to verify your subscription and provide its benefits. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play’s subscription settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled under applicable Google Play policies.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information as needed with service providers that support features you request or help us operate the app. These providers may include:

• Google Gemini for Bible AI processing.
• Meta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates, through the Meta SDK, for campaign attribution, measurement, and optimization as described in Section 4.
• Cloud hosting, storage, and content delivery providers.
• Providers that support location lookup, purchase verification, customer support, analytics, or session diagnostics, where those services are used or enabled.

We use church and religious denomination information to personalize in-app content recommendations. It is not included in Meta SDK events or in information sent to Google Gemini for AI responses.

The information sent to Meta through the SDK is described in Section 4. Depending on the tools and settings used, disclosures to Meta may be treated as targeted advertising or “sharing” under certain U.S. state privacy laws. Where required by applicable law, users may exercise relevant opt-out rights as described in “U.S. State Privacy Information” below.

Service providers may process information on our behalf under arrangements with us and for the purposes described in this Policy. The specific providers used may change as the app and its services change.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, in connection with a business transfer, or when you direct us to do so or consent to the disclosure.

We do not sell personal information.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for up to one year, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law or is necessary to address security issues, disputes, or legal claims.

This one-year period applies to information such as AI conversation records, service logs, support communications, campaign measurement data, and church or religious denomination information. Temporary AI session context may be cached for up to 24 hours. That cache period does not change the retention period for stored records.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or take reasonable steps to de-identify it. If you submit a privacy request, we will review and process it under applicable law. We may retain information where required or permitted by law.

8. Your Choices and Privacy Requests

You can choose not to submit an AI question or passage context. You may also choose not to provide church or religious denomination information; if you do, content recommendations may be less personalized. Some other features may not work without the information needed to provide them.

You can manage notification permissions in your device settings and manage or cancel a Google Play subscription through your Google Play account.

The app does not support account creation. If you want to ask us to access, correct, delete, or provide a copy of personal information associated with your use of the app, contact us at fridakhalo56775446889@gmail.com. Please describe your request and provide enough information for us to locate and verify the relevant data. We will review and process the request under applicable law.

Deleting app data or uninstalling the app does not cancel a Google Play subscription.

Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information; obtain a copy of certain information; opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing; or appeal a decision about a privacy request. 9. U.S. State Privacy Information

Some U.S. states provide residents with privacy rights, subject to applicable law and eligibility requirements. These rights may include access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information; a copy of certain information; and the ability to opt out of certain processing, such as targeted advertising, sale, or sharing of personal information.

We do not sell personal information. If our use of Meta campaign measurement is considered “sharing” or targeted advertising under a state law that applies to us, eligible residents may contact us at fridakhalo56775446889@gmail.com to exercise applicable rights. Where required by applicable law, we will honor recognized opt-out preference signals.

Church or religious denomination information may be treated as sensitive personal information under applicable state law. Where required, we will obtain consent before processing it, and you may exercise any applicable right to limit its use or disclosure by contacting us at fridakhalo56775446889@gmail.com.

10. Children

Bible Shorts is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at fridakhalo56775446889@gmail.com so we can review the request and take appropriate action.

11. International Processing

Your information may be processed or stored in countries or regions other than the United States, where data protection laws may differ. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy when the app, its features, or applicable requirements change. We will make the current version available on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
